Three Double Bedroom Grade II Listed Cottage ~ Superb Gardens with Summer House & Detached Laundry Room ~ Further Planning Permissions Granted ~ Extended Kitchen & Two Bathrooms

One of just a handful of delightful Grade II listed cottages, this fine three Bedroom home has undergone both ground floor and second floor extension since it's original build in the late 16th Century. The plot offers a generous Driveway as well as a detached, brick built Laundry/Utility room and a Summer house complete with it's own Bathroom and electrics. Sympathetic, as expected, the Cottage offers a wealth of period features including a fine Inglenook style fireplace and exposed beams and timbers throughout.

The characterful front door leads into a cosy Entrance Hallway in turn offering access to a generous and attractive Living Dining room. The extended Kitchen, sympathetic to the last, has butchers block work surfaces as well as a Belfast sink and a doorway to the Gardens. Beyond the Kitchen the ground floor Bathroom presents a white three piece suite with a mains plumbed shower over the Bath. Upstairs, the Loft conversion, undertaken by the existing owners and fully compliant, has allowed a further Shower room to be installed on the first floor complimenting the three double Bedrooms perfectly.

Externally the property's Gardens are a real feature of the home as well as being generous also offer many practical features. Beyond the fence, seen to the front right hand side of the property, a spacious and private Courtyard Patio or drying area offers immediate access to a brick built detached Laundry & Utility room. Beyond this and laid to Lawn with mature foliage, the private Gardens also benefit from a very versatile Summer House. Over 6 metres in width, the building has mains plumbing and electricity and even a shower room and wc.

This lovely property is a rare purchase and with a Driveway offering parking for many vehicles and planning permission granted for garaging as well, the house offers even further potential.

as others have stated, for sale board went up late and we had to keep phoning to find out why. we were not given any feed back from viewings , we had to chase to get answers.phoned the office numerous occasions and the person was either on a day off or out of office, the staff take messages and nobody returns call. when it comes to views they are booked over a week in advanced and by the time the day comes the buyers have lost interest. Not enough staff
Really great service from Elizabeth Davenport! Chris, Shelina and Marion in particular were fantastic!
I asked Davenports for a market valuation for probate. The service I got was well informed and understanding; and there was no pressure to sell, just good advice on my options. I shall certainly be using them when I do come to sell and will be recommending them to my friends.
