There are three main kinds of survey available for residential homes in the UK. All three are carried out by Chartered Surveyors regulated by the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). Firstly, there are RICS HomeBuyer Reports, secondly Building Surveys (formerly known as Structural Surveys) and thirdly RICS-Condition-Reports.
